Organically farmed old vine Tempranillo from the heights of Rioja-Alavesa. Bright red fruit backed by a mineral freshness that'll keep all the rich meats of this week in check, pork, duck... but it'll really come into it's own with garnishes like braised lentils with Jamon or the wonderful mushroom dish...
