A much anticipated, elegant example of the traditional style.
The wine’s comprised of 80% Tempranillo from two 30-year-old vineyards – La Cuesta in Fuenmayor and Montecillo in Cenicero – and 20% Garnacha from a single plot of goblet-trained vines in Tudelilla, Rioja Baja, at an altitude of 600 metres.
Both the Tempranillo and Garnacha were aged in American oak for three and two and half years respectively, before being blended and bottled.
