Fedellos Os Bidueiros

Os Bidueiros is a new single site wine coming from a vineyard that is about 60-80 years old in Seadur in the Val di Bibei, Galicia. It sits at about 500m above sea level and is predominantly Mencia, but also with a little bit of Garnacha Tintorera and Sumoll. Soil profile here is Granite. Jesus and Curro use 100% whole bunches and ferment for 60days with very little pigeage. The wine then spends 14 months in old oak barrels. While being quite perfumed it is one of the more structured and concentrated expressions from Fedellos.
