The epitome of elegant, traditional Rioja.
The 2010 Gran Reserva 904 comprises Tempranillo and around 10% Graciano from vineyards of a minimum of 40 years of age in Briñas, Labastida and Villalba. It was aged in four-year-old American oak barrels with manual racking by candle very six months until being bottled in November of 2015 . From 2015 until it's release in mid 2019 they were kept in La Rioja Alta's underground cellars in Haro.
This is a superbly elegant Rioja, only just medium bodied yet with immense concentration: a plethora of age and oak characters wrapped around a tight core of red cherry. Long, light and fine, it seems as if it’s just beginning to hit its straps and will continue to develop gracefully for years to come.
